We offer a free service to our patients that are in school and have a hard time finding a way to get to their appointments. We will provide transportation to and from school. We work at getting our treatments efficient enough to span the appointments out 8-12 weeks to minimize work/school loss, however, there are some parents that still cannot miss work. There are other factors that decide if a patient is eligible to ride in the hummer. Some are the following:
- Both parents working
- Single parents working
- Special needs patients
- Patients in Active treatment
- Not all schools are eligible
- Appointments cannot be earlier than 45 minutes after the start of school
- Appointments cannot run into the end of school child must be picked up 45 minutes before school lets out
- The child may be dropped off at the office by the parent and brought to school in the hummer if needed; as well as brought from the school by the hummer and a parent pick child up from the office
- If the child’s appointment runs into lunch time a brown bag lunch may be brought or send money from home and we will stop for lunch
- If there is a problem with your child’s orthodontic progress we will ask that you bring your child to their next appointment so we can work together on resolving it
